Checklist
Your home is your household helper’s workplace
Safe, healthy and comfortable equipment is important. With good supplies and the right products, your household helper can get started right away and the result is better.
Cleaning supplies
- 2 plastic buckets with a sturdy handle
- Stable stepladder (max. 3 steps) with handrail and non-slip feet
- 2 light floor cloths (not thick cotton)
- Window squeegee, with telescopic handle for high windows
- Hard and soft brush
- Floor squeegee
- At least 6 microfibre cloths
- 2 scouring pads and 1 sponge
- Duster, dustpan and hand brush
- Synthetic chamois
- Cobweb brush
- A toilet brush per toilet
- Dishcloths and kitchen towels
- Vacuum cleaner with enough dust bags
Cleaning products
- Floor soap
- Washing-up liquid
- All-purpose cleaner
- Cleaning vinegar
- Toilet cleaner
Ironing supplies
If your household helper also irons
- Steam iron
- 2 laundry baskets
- Height-adjustable ironing board
Tip: use microfibre cloths in a different colour for each room (for example kitchen, bathroom and toilet). And does your home have more than 2 floors? Then an extra vacuum cleaner is handy.
